A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, to amend the city of Jonesboro Employee handbook to include provision for the abuse of an employee's position of authority over the citizenry and/or knowingly and intentionally selectively enforcing the city codes.
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
 
The City of Jonesboro Employee hand book - SECTION IV- STANDARDS OF CONCUCT, Page 4-4, under Guideline for Appropriate conduct, paragraph 3, - "Types of behavior and conduct that the City considers inappropriate include, but are not limited to the following:" be amended to include:
 
15. Intentional abuse of an employee's position of authority over the citizenry
16. Knowingly or intentionally selectively enforcing the city codes
