AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE CERTAIN TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES; TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: Stop signs shall be placed at the following intersection:
(a) Stop signs to be placed at the intersection of Bridge Street at its intersection with Creath.
Section 2: All ordinances and/or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3: It is found and declared by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the above traffic control devices are needed to insure adequate traffic control, therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
