AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954 KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGE IN ZONING BOUNDARIES.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 954 known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the change in zoning district boundaries as follows:
1. From Residential (R-2) to Commercial (C-1) of property described as: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Monroe Street (east) with the centerline of Carson Street, thence southerly along and following the centerline of Carson Street for a distance of approximately 110 feet to a point, thence northward along and following the existing zoning boundary for a distance of approximately 110 feet to its intersection, with the centerline of Monroe Street (east), thence westwardly along and following the centerline of Monroe Street (east) to its intersection with the centerline of Carson Street, which point is the point of beginning.
2. From Commercial (C-1) to Industrial (I-1) of property described as: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Bridge Street with the eastward projection of a portion of the north project boundary of the Jonesboro Center N.D.P. Project No. Ark. A-24. Thence, westwardly along and following the meanderings of said true and projected north project boundary of said project to its intersection with the centerline of Main Street; thence, southerly along and following the centerline of Main Street to its intersection with the centerline of Cate Avenue; thence eastwardly along and following the centerline of Cate Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Bridge Street; thence northwardly along and following the centerline of Bridge Street to its intersection with the eastward projection of a portion of the north project boundary of the Jonesboro Center N.D.P.
