A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THYSSENKRUPP ELEVATOR CORPORATION FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO ELEVATOR EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE CONTRACT

WHEREAS, ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corporation has submitted to the City of Jonesboro a contract for the Scope of Work detailed in the attached agreement;

WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the Facilities Maintenance Fund and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract terms.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into an agreement with ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corporation for the professional services related to the elevator maintenance contract for the Scope of Work detailed in the attached agreement for elevators at the addresses of 314 W. Washington and 515 W. Washington.

Section 2: The funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the Facilities Maintenance fund and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract terms.

Section 3: The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
