AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING CERTAIN LAND ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS BY ORDER OF THE COUNTY COURT OF CRAIGHEAD COUNTY

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: That the territories and lands annexed to the City of Jonesboro by order of the County Court of Craighead County, Arkansas by its orders of September 20, 2004 and October 21, 2004, be and are hereby accepted by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, said territory hereinafter described shall be hereafter deemed and taken to be part and parcel of the limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and the inhabitants residing therein shall have and enjoy all of the rights and privileges of the inhabitants within the original limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
SECTION 2: That the lands and territories are hereby annexed to and accepted by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and more particularly described as follows:
All that part of the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas lying North of Drainage Ditch, less and except the North 210.0 feet of the East 420.0 feet and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1; thence South 00°48'27" West 210.00 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence continue South 00°48'27" West 1328.65 feet to the center line of ditch; thence along said ditch as follows; thence South 85°55'23" West 27.16 feet; thence North 82°11'57" West 71.66 feet; thence North 27°13'41" West 31.92 feet; thence North 48°50'02" West 31.06 feet; thence North 80°15'31" West 28.65 feet; thence South 84°35'59" West 123.84 feet; thence North 66°42'00" West 43.42 feet; thence North 70°13'06" West 101.51 feet; thence North 75°10'50" West 45.18 feet; thence North 61°47'28" West 14.23 feet; thence North 50°40'14" West 86.85 feet; thence North 85°02'42" West 25.44 ...
