A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED WHEREIN THE CITY OF JONESBORO, CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS, IS THE GRANTOR AND THE ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY COMMISISON, IS THE GRANTEE, CONVEYING LANDS LYING WITHIN CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, for and in consideration of the sum of One and No/100 Dollars, ($1.00), cash in hand paid and other valuable considerations, and it is necessary that the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, to the Arkansas State Highway Commission, by an instrument of conveyance thereby vesting in the State of Arkansas the complete and full right, title and interest in said lands. The lands as recited in Craighead County, Arkansas, are described as follows, to-wit:
Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: Starting at the Northeast Corner of Section 29, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, said point being the centerline of State Highway 18, State Highway 173 and North City Limits of Jonesboro, Arkansas; thence South 00° 41’ West along centerline of Highway 173 a distance of 40 feet to the South right-of-way line of Highway 18 for the point of beginning; thence continue South 00° 41’ West along centerline of Highway 173 and the East City Limits line of the City of Jonesboro, a distance of 1276.0 feet to the South City Limits of the City of Jonesboro. Arkansas; thence West along the South City Limits of Jonesboro, Arkansas, a distance of 60.0 feet to the proposed westerly right-of-way of Highway 173; thence North 00° 41’ East along said right-of-way line a distance of 1276.00 feet to the South right-of-way line of Highway 18; thence East along said right-of-way line of Highway 18, a distance of 60.0 feet to the point of beginning.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the members of the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas:
