RESOLUTION TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF GAYLE VICKERS ON THE COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING ADVISORY COMMISSION (CPAC) WITH AN EXPIRATION DATE OF DECEMBER 31, 2011

WHEREAS, on January 5, 2010, the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, established the Comprehensive Planning Advisory Commission (CPAC) in order to develop a 20-year comprehensive plan for the City of Jonesboro; and

WHEREAS, Gayle Vickers served on the commission beginning January 5, 2010; and

WHEREAS, due to the recent passing of Ms. Vickers, Mayor Perrin must fill the unexpired term; and

WHEREAS, Mayor Perrin has recommended Heather Clements to fill the unexpired term of Ms. Vickers.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:

SECTION 1: Heather Clements is appointed to replace Gayle Vickers on CPAC with an expiration date of December 31, 2011.
