A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT THE PROPERTY DONATED BY CRAIGHEAD COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AUTHORITY.

WHEREAS, the CRAIGHEAD COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AUTHORITY, desire to donate and the City of Jonesboro wishes to accept the following described property to the City of Jonesboro, to wit:
A part of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, being more particularly described as follows: Begin at the Southwest corner of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 3 East; thence N 0 deg. 04’ 17”E on the section line 658.01’; thence N 89 deg. 16’ 23”E 234.47’ to the point of beginning proper; thence N 0 deg. 04’ 17”E 823.91’ to the centerline of a public road; thence with the meanderings of said road centerline as follows: S 71 deg. 43’24” E-114.27’; S 74 deg. 19’ 18” E-103.97’; thence S 0 deg. 04’ 17” W 757.32’; thence S 89 deg. 16’ 23” W 208.71’ to the point of beginning proper, containing 3.78 acres, more or less, and subject to a public road r/w off and across the North side thereof.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept the Donation Deed of Gift dated October 6, 2008.
