RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO JAMES FELTS FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO AND ITS CITIZENS FOR TWENTY YEARS OF SERVICE AS A FIREFIGHTER

WHEREAS, Mr. James Felts has served the City of Jonesboro for twenty years as a firefighter working his way up through the ranks as a hoseman, lieutenant, and captain; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Felts has always been a loyal member of the department, city officials, and the City of Jonesboro, he has been thoughtful of the men that worked under him and trained them carefully and diplomatically; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Felts was never reprimanded during this twenty years of service to the City and has lent himself 100% to his position and career with the Jonesboro Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make this resolution a part of the permanent record, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the excellent and untiring service James Felts has rendered the City of Jonesboro and its citizens during this term of service to the Jonesboro Fire Department.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, James Felts has performed a great service for our city and its people and the City Council and the citizens of Jonesboro greatly appreciate his service.
