PUBLIC HEARING 6:50 P.M. - A public hearing was conducted for the purpose of vacating street easements along lots G, H and K in the Caldwell's Subdivision. Mr. Guy Lowes expressed his concerns of a 1300 foot right-of-way, with no cul-de-sac and is a dead end. Mr. Rhiddlehoover explained all the homes egress and ingress from a different road. No other opposition was voiced.

PUBLIC HEARING 7:00 P.M. - A public hearing was conducted for the purpose of vacating and abandoning a portion of Higginbottom Creek easement across the back of Mickey Seeman's property. Mr. Skip Mooney represented Mr. Seeman in this matter. Mr. Mooney stated he had faxed a copy of a Safe Harmless Agreement to Mr. Guy Lowes, City Engineer. Councilman Kelton questioned if anything had changed from the last time this matter was brought before the Council. Mr. Mooney answered, no it had not.

CITY COUNCIL MINUTES, NOVEMBER 21, 1994

The Jonesboro City Council met in regular session, Monday, November 21, 1994, at 7:30 P.M. A full quorum was in attendance. Present were City Attorney, City Clerk and all council members with the exception of Councilman Evans who was unable to attend. Councilman Harpole was late due to other city business. Vice Mayor Hannah presided over the meeting in the absence of Mayor Brodell.

The minutes of November 7, 1994, were approved as mailed on motion by Councilman Perrin seconded by Councilman Wise. A roll call vote was taken resulting in all council members voting aye. Those members voting aye were: Wise, Ingram, Province, Mullenix, Bowers, Perrin, Kelton, Vance, Mays, and Hannah.

The following ordinance was on the third reading:

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (Robin Holeman)
