RESOLUTION TO REFER FUTURE MUNICIPAL MOTOR VEHICLE TAX TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO FOR THEIR APPROVAL OR DISAPPROVAL BY VOTE

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas has levied a municipal motor vehicle tax for the year 1974, and

WHEREAS, the City Council considers this to be necessary because of national economic conditions now or expected to exist, and

WHEREAS, it is possible that future tax on municipal vehicles might be necessary

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that if said municipal motor vehicle tax shall be necessary in 1975 that said resolution shall be referred to the residents of Jonesboro for their approval or disapproval by vote.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 21^st day of January, 1974.
