ORDINANCE MAKING IT A MISDEMEANOR TO HARM THE PROPERTY OF THE WATER COMPANY

Thereafter it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to climb upon, throw stones, or missiles in, or against, the walls, stand pipe, reservoir, or buildings of the Jonesboro Water Company.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to hitch any horse or any other animal to, or injure, or damage any hydrant, watering trough, or fountain, or other property belonging to the Jonesboro Water Company.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to open, or turn on, or carry water from any public hydrant, watering trough or fountain, for private use or uses, or for the purpose of sprinkling any street or private property, without having first secured authority therefor in writing from said Jonesboro Water Company.
It shall be unlawful for any water consumer to allow or permit water to be taken from his or her premises, to be used elsewhere, or to use any water on his or her premises for purposes other than those specified in his or her written application for the use of the water made to the said Jonesboro Water Company.
Any person or persons who shall be guilty of violating either or any of the foregoing sections or any of the provisions of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and a violation of this ordinance, and shall be fined for each offense a sum not less than Five Dollars, nor more than fifty dollars.
