RESOLUTION TO EXECUTE A FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT AND LEASE WITH THE JONESBORO AIRPORT COMMISSION

WHEREAS, the Contact with Industry and Lease Contract in connection with and as contemplated in Ordinance 999 of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed and adopted on the 4th day of January, 1960, has been negotiated by the officials of the City of Jonesboro and of the Jonesboro Airport Commission, all pursuant to Resolution heretofore adopted by the City Council and the final form of Facilities Construction contract and Lease has been presented to the City Council and found to be in accord with the Ordinances and Resolutions heretofore adopted, and to be beneficial to the City and in the public interest.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the Mayor and the City Clerk, and the Chairman and Secretary of the Airport Commission of the City of Jonesboro, be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute, deliver, and to do all things necessary to effectuate the terms, conditions, and requirements, and to bind the City of Jonesboro and the Airport Commission to the Facilities Construction Contract dated as of January 28, 1960, the Lease Agreement and its Appendix I and II, including Memorandum of Lease Agreement of the same date, and to deliver same, subject only to the Lease Agreement of the same date, and to deliver same, subject only to the concurring vote of the electors of the City of Jonesboro held pursuant to Ordinance 999. A copy of said instruments, are attached as a part of this Resolution.
