Purchase of 14.01 acres in 2000 was authorized by Resolution 2000:15. Allen deed for 4.44 acres in 1996 was filed in the Circuit Clerk’s Office on February 5, 1996, in Book 493 Page 191. Allen deed for 4.50 acres in 2000 was filed in the Circuit Clerk’s Office on May 8, 2000, in Book 591 Pages 199-200. Allen deed for 14.01 acres in 2000 was filed in the Circuit Clerk’s Office on May 8, 2000, in Book 591 Pages 201-202.
City of Jonesboro was also conveyed property from Brenda Rainwater and Jon Motta. Two quitclaim deeds dated July 11, 2001, and two others dated August 3, 2001. Rainwater/Motta deeds were filed in the Circuit Clerk’s Office on January 30, 2002, in Book 620 Pages 281-288.
City of Jonesboro conveyed 1.16 acres to City Water and Light as part of a well setback. Warranty deed dated March 4, 2005. Conveyance authorized by Resolution 2005:24. CWL deed was filed in the Circuit Clerk’s Office in Book 707 Pages 683.
Does the city still own the property? Yes, less the 1.16 acres conveyed to CWL.
