AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING ALL ALLEYS IN BLOCK B, IN EARL KIECH SECOND ADDITION LOCATED IN THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS.

WHEREAS, the City Council at its regular meeting hearing the request to abandon all of the alleys in Block B, in Earl Kiech Second Addition, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing and heard all persons desiring to be heard in connection with this matter; and
WHEREAS, the abandonment of these alleys would not affect the use of and would be in the best interest of all parties concerned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby vacates and abandons all of its rights together with the right of the public generally, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
SECTION 2: A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the Office of Recorder of Craighead County at Jonesboro, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records of Craighead County, Arkansas.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas finds and declares that the above alleys are not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owners of all the property abutting the above alleys are in favor of the closure and vacation of the above described alleys and that therefore an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
