CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING - JUNE 12, 1986
The City Council of Jonesboro met in a called meeting at 6:00 p.m. Present were Mayor, City Clerk, City Attorney, and Aldermen Park, Hinson, Strauser, Sanderson, Culpepper, Mays and Nix. Aldermen Stricklin, Evans, Bridger, Shelton and Hannah were absent.
The meeting was held in regard to the one cent sales tax proposal. The Mayor outlined the proposal and enumerated the nine items. (Copy of the sales tax proposal is attached)
After discussion, Mr. Sanderson moved, seconded by Mr. Park to adopt the proposal. All voted aye.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned.
