RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT A HOMEOWNER REHABILITATION GRANT APPLICATION TO THE ARKANSAS DEVELOPMENT FINANCIAL AUTHORITY

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is desirous of applying to the Arkansas Development Financial Authority for a Homeowner Rehabilitation matching grant;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro will administer the Homeowner Rehabilitation Grant Application in areas prescribed by the Arkansas Development Finance Authority, AND
WHEREAS, matching shares will be provided by local banking institutions.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT Hubert Brodell, Mayor of the City of Jonesboro, is authorized to submit to the Arkansas Development Financial Authority an application for a Homeowner Rehabilitation grant for $200,000.00 on behalf of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
