RESOLUTION TO REQUEST FREE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT CRAIGHEAD FOREST PARK

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO. ARKANSAS, THAT CITY WATER AND LIGHT PLANT OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, BE REQUESTED BY THIS RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO THE FOLLOWING LOCATION:
Craighead Forest Park, Pavilion Six and Rest Rooms, Campsite Number.1, Firing Range operated by Jonesboro Police, Ballfields and Rest Rooms, Pavilion Number .3 and 2 Yard Lights, Caretakers Quarters, Access Road No.1, Pavilion Number 1 and Six Yard Lights, Campsite Number 2, Pavilion Number 7 and Restrooms, Pavilion Number Two, Concession Building and New Building across from Concession Stand
To permit such service to be provided without charge, the City of Jonesboro hereby affirms to City Water & Light that the ultimate use of the power so provided is now and shall remain a use or purpose which the City is engaged in as part of its governmental or proprietary functions under authority granted to it by state law.
