AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 2643 AND AMEND CHAPTER 11.36, KNOWN AS THE “MECHANICAL CODE” OF THE JONESBORO CODE OF ORDINANCES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REMOVING THE LOCAL EXCEPTION REGARDING INSTALLATION OF FLEXIBLE CLASS 0 AND CLASS 1 AIR DUCT MATERIALS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 2643, Section 3 is hereby deleted in its entirety.
SECTION 2: All other ordinances or parts of ordinances which are contrary to this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 3: It is found and declared by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
