A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CONTRACT WITH RSA, INC DBA NRS ENGINEERING FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION OF DETENTION PONDS ON VALLEY DRIVE

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to construct one detention pond at 734 & 736 Valley Drive and;

WHEREAS, said detention ponds are needed to control flooding;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

SECTION 1:      That the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall contract with RSA, Inc. dba NRS Engineering for the design and construction inspection of a detention pond at 734 & 736 Valley Drive.  The fee for the design and inspection of these ponds shall be $22,000.00 for design and $11,000.00 for inspection.

SECTION 2:      The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
