RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ABANDONING ALL OF THE 7.5 FOOT DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG THE WEST LINE OF LOTS 5R AND 6R AND ALL OF THE 15 FOOT DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG THE WEST LINE OF LOTS 2R AND 3R OF CRAIGHILLS FOURTH ADDITION AS REQUESTED BY PDW PROPERTIES, LLC

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that;
ALL OF THE 7.5 FOOT DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG THE WEST LINE OF LOTS 5R AND 6R AND ALL OF THE 15 FOOT DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG THE WEST LINE OF LOTS 2R AND 3R OF CRAIGHILLS FOURTH ADDITION AS SHOWN ON THE PLAT, RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CIRCUIT CLERK IN CRAIGHEAD COUNTY IN BOOK C, PAGE 191.
Be vacated and abandoned; and
WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND
WHEREAS, Arkansas Code Annotated 14-301-110 requires two weeks public notice before the above easement can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of the request by the property owners to vacate and abandon the unimproved drainage and utility easements mentioned above and this matter will be heard before the City Council on August 19, 2008, at 5:45 o'clock, p.m., at the Huntington Building, located at 900 W. Monroe, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
