AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE McCARTY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
It being determined by the County Court of Craighead County, Arkansas, after due notice and according to the provisions of law, to enter an order of annexation on August 5, 1958, making McCarty Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, as shown in Plat Book 123 at page 27 in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, Jonesboro, Arkansas, also described as:
Begin at the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section Twenty (20), Township Fourteen (14) North, Range Four (4) East, thence West three hundred eleven (311) feet to the point of beginning proper, thence South one thousand three hundred twenty (1320) feet, thence west five hundred sixteen (516) feet, thence north eight hundred four and five-tenths (804.5) feet, thence east one hundred ninety-nine (199) feet, thence north five hundred fifteen and five-tenths (515.5) feet, thence east three hundred seventeen (317) feet to the point of beginning proper, a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. It being found that said territory should be accepted into and made part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
IT IS THEREFORE ordained that the above described lands are hereby accepted and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, annexed thereto, and the persons residing therein shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges of the inhabitants within the original limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, said territory being assigned to Ward 4.
