RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AN AGREEMENT FOR DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARANCE WORK

WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Jonesboro held a duly authorized regular meeting on March 5, 1973, at which meeting by virtue of his office as Mayor he presided; and
WHEREAS, at said meeting the City Council reviewed a certain cooperation agreement previously approved by said Council and considered a form of agreement for demolition and site clearance to be performed by the City as contractor with the Jonesboro Urban Renewal in connection with the NDP Program; it was:
RESOLVED, that the form of agreement for demolition and site clearance wherein the City of Jonesboro is the contractor and the UR is the local public agency and by which the City agrees to perform certain demolition and site clearance work on parcels and at sites designated by the UR, be approved; that a copy of said proposed agreement for demolition and site clearance be attached to a certificate of this resolution and be made a part thereof; and be it further resolved that the Mayor be authorized and directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the City.
