A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO APPOINT A COMMITTEE TO EVAULATE ALL CITY GOVERNMENT FACILITIES AND TO DEVELOP A PLAN TO MEET THE CURRENT AND FUTURE NEEDS

WHEREAS, it has been determined there is an urgent need to review and evaluate all City Government facilities and develop a plan that will provide for the  efficient operation of all departments; and

 

WHEREAS, it is the desire of Mayor Formon to form a long range planning committee to develop a facilities plan to address the current and future needs of City Government; and

 

WHEREAS, Mayor Formon has recommended appointments of the following persons to serve on the long range planning committee. 

 

Michael Yates, Police Chief                                                               Aaron Keller, Fire Chief                     

Alderman Judy Furr                                                                                    Otis Spriggs, City Planner

Phillip Crego, City Attorney                                                               Jerry Eldridge, District Court Clerk                     

Paul Hoelscher, Architect                                                               Jeremy Bevill, Civil Engineer

 

Ex officio members:                                          Mayor Doug Formon;

                                                                                    Brian Wadley, Operations Director

 

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the recommended appointments as listed above are hereby confirmed to serve on the long range planning committee.
