RESOLUTION TO REQUEST FREE UTILITY SERVICE FROM CITY WATER AND LIGHT FOR OPTIMIST PARK AND A LIGHT ON A CITY LOT ON WOODROW STREET

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that City Water and Light Plant of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be requested by this resolution to provide electrical service to the following location:
(1) Along the South side of Optimist Park, located at 1421 W. Nettleton Extended, adjacent to the exercise track facility, and;
(2) A light on a city lot located on Woodrow Street.
To permit such service to be provided without charge, the City of Jonesboro hereby affirms to City Water and Light that the ultimate use of the power so provided is now and shall remain a use or purpose which the City is engaged in as part of its governmental or proprietary functions under authority granted to it by state law.
