RESOLUTION APPROVING AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN FOR EMPLOYMENT SECTION 3 COMPLIANCE PLAN; AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN FOR CONTRACTORS CITIZENS PARTICIPATION PLAN

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, in the formulation of the Community Development Block Grant Program B-75-HN-15-0007, assured the Department of Housing and Urban Development that they would comply with all equal Employment Opportunity Acts; Section 3 Compliance; and Executive Order No.11246 and any other rules and regulations described by the Department of Housing and Urban Development in our Application approved on April 21, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to comply with these rules and regulations and certain documents have been prepared and has been reviewed by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the following documents, which are attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, are hereby approved:
(1) Affirmative Action Plan for Employment
(2) Section 3 Compliance Plan
(3) Affirmative Action Plan for Contractors
(4) Citizen Participation Plan
APPROVED BY THE AFFIRMATIVE VOTE OF ALL COUNCIL MEMBERS, at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas held on the 15th day of September, 1975.
