A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH EXPRESS SERVICES, INC. TO PROVIDE STAFFING NEEDS FOR MONITORING AND OTHER RELATED SERVICES RELATED TO DEBRIS REMOVAL RESULTING FROM THE ICE STORM OF 2009;

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to enter into a contract to provided staffing needs for monitoring and other related services related to debris removal resulting from the ice storm of 2009;

WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the contract shall come from 02-100-0210-00 and compensation shall be provided monthly until completion of the project;

WHEREAS, the cost associated with the contract will be reimbursed fully (100%) by FEMA;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro enter into a contract with Express Services, Inc. provide staffing needs for monitoring and other related services related to debris removal resulting from the ice storm of 2009

SECTION 2: The funding for the execution of the contract shall come from 02-100-0210-00 (Street Department Part-time Salaries)

SECTION 3: The Mayor, Harold Perrin, and the City Clerk, Donna K. Jackson, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
