A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH CAVENAUGH AUTOMOTIVE GROUP FOR SPONSORSHIP OF ADMISSION PASSES AND TICKETS FOR CITY OF JONESBORO PARKS AND RECREATION YOUTH SOCCER AND FLAG FOOTBALL PROGRAMS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Department provides youth recreational soccer and flag football programs for the citizens of Jonesboro and the surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, Cavenaugh Automotive Group desires to provide financial support for youth recreation program admission season passes and individual admission tickets and to receive sponsorship recognition in connection with those programs; and
WHEREAS, Cavenaugh Automotive Group agrees to provide sponsorship funding in the total amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), consisting of $2,500.00 for Fall Soccer/Flag Football and $2,500.00 for Spring Soccer/Flag Football; and
WHEREAS, the sponsorship shall support admission access to City of Jonesboro Parks and Recreation youth soccer and flag football events, with the agreement ending August 2, 2027;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall enter into a sponsorship agreement with Cavenaugh Automotive Group for sponsorship of admission season passes and individual admission tickets associated with the City of Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Youth Soccer and Flag Football Programs. A copy of said agreement is attached as "Exhibit A."
SECTION 2: Mayor Harold Copenhaver and City Clerk April Leggett are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
