RESOLUTION APPROVING FOURTH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ACTIVITIES

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, is desirous of continuing undertaking various Community Development activities under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and has conducted two public hearings and several Citizen meetings to facilitate the approval of the Fourth Year activities; and
WHEREAS, on the basis of the Citizens Activities Committee and those activities that have been determined to be of higher priority than those not selected, the City Council hereby determines that the attached list reflecting activities of $551,000, dated November 21, 1977 is recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
(1) That the attached list dated November 21, 1977 for the Fourth Year Community Development Block Grant Program is hereby in all respects approved.
(2) That the Jonesboro Urban Renewal and Housing Authority and Manes and Associates, Planner, is hereby authorized to draw up the Fourth Year Community Development Block Grant Application, Housing Assistance Plan, Three Year Comprehensive Plan, and any other agreements thereto for the December 5th, 1977 City Council Meeting.
