RESOLUTION TO DIRECT THE CITY ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS FOR PROPERTY TO BE DESIGNATED BY THE INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEE

WHEREAS, the City has used most of its desirable industrial sites, and therefore is in need of additional sites so that a choice might be offered to prospective industries, and

WHEREAS, funds for such acquisition are presently available under previous industrial bond issues,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE City Council, that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to institute condemnation proceedings for the acquisition of approximately 33 acres, at a price not to exceed $1500.00 per acre, the exact site to be selected and designated by the Industrial Committee of the City Council.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 6^th day of August, 1962.
