RESOLUTION TO RENEW THE CONTRACT WITH USABLE TO PROVIDE LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO EMPLOYEES

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro offers a $10,000.00 Life Insurance Policy to all full time employees of the City; and
WHEREAS, USAble has proposed to provide the same coverage as last year with no increase in premium;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, that:
1. The coverage provided by USAble be extended for the third year of the three year renewable contract, as recommended by the Finance Committee, at no increase in premium.
2. The effective dates of coverage shall be January 1, 2007, through December 31, 2007.
