A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH JONESBORO BASEBALL BOOSTERS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF NEW TURF AT JOE MACK CAMPBELL PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Jonesboro Baseball Boosters desire to enter into an agreement wherein the City will install new turf and the Jonesboro Baseball Boosters shall reimburse the City in annual installments of $135,000 per year for five years beginning on November 1, 2018; and
WHEREAS, said agreement is attached hereto and the terms set out therein;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The City of Jonesboro approves the Agreement with Jonesboro Baseball Boosters to install new turf at Joe Mack Campbell Park. That the City of Jonesboro will install and pay for turf and receive reimbursement as set out in the attached agreement. All other details of the agreement are set out in the attachment.
2. The Mayor, Harold Perrin and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
