AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY OF THE MAYOR OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1. That hereafter the salary of the Mayor of Jonesboro, Arkansas, shall be Two Hundred and Twenty-Five ($225.00) dollars per month, beginning with the first day of the term of office of the Mayor elected at the General Municipal Election held in April, 1949.

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and adoption.

PASSED and ADOPTED this the 3^rd day of December, 1948.
