RESOLUTION TO REQUEST FREE UTILITY SERVICE FROM CITY WATER AND LIGHT FOR VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CITY OF JONESBORO

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that City Water and Light be requested by this resolution to provide free services to the following locations.
- Forum - 106 E. Monroe Ave. - Electric on Temp Pole
- Access Road 5 - Electric Meter
- Lights on the Ridge - 107 W. Monroe - Electric Meter
- Lights on the Ridge - 327 S. Main - Electric Meter
- Fire Station - 2916 Wood Street - Security Light
- Park Area - 207 West Allen - Security Light
- Valley View Recreational Baseball Field - Security Light on an existing pole
- Pavilion 4 at Craighead Forest - Security Light
- Access Road 5 - Relocate an existing security light and pole.
To permit such service to be provided without charge, the City of Jonesboro hereby affirms to City Water and Light that the ultimate use of the power so provided is now and shall remain a use or purpose which the city is engaged in as part of its governmental or proprietary functions under authority granted to it by state law.
