AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NUMBER 3588 TO REMOVE THE NON-VOTING EX-OFFICIO STATUS OF THE ARKANSAS FORESTRY COMMISION REPRESENTATIVE TO THE FORESTRY COUNCIL

WHEREAS, the Jonesboro Urban Forestry Council desires to remove the "non-voting, ex-officio" status of the Arkansas Forestry Commission representative to the Forestry Council.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:     

SECTION I: That previous Ordinance No. 3588, Section 2 shall be amended to read:  "A member of the Arkansas Forestry Commission shall serve as a voting member of the JUFC."
