A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ADOPT A CHANGE ORDER WITH NRS CONSULTING ENGINEERS FOR THE COMPLETION OF JOE MACK CAMPBELL BASEBALL PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has contracted with NRS Consulting Engineers for the design and construction supervision of Joe Mack Campbell Park baseball fields;

WHEREAS, the original fee for services provided by NRS Consulting Engineers was $42,500.00;

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has made some changes to the design of the Joe Mack Campbell Park Fields.

WHEREAS, NRS Consulting Engineers is requesting an additional $5,117.50 for additional design work.  The new lump sum for the work shall be $47,617.50;

WHEREAS, funds for the engineering and construction supervision shall come from line item 00-000-0500-18 "Baseball Field Donations".

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall approve a change order to the contract with NRS Consulting Engineers to add $5,177.50 to NRS Consulting Engineers' fee to design and complete Joe Mack Campbell Park Baseball Complex.

SECTION 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
