A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS APPROVING THE CONTRACT FOR THE CDBG SEWER HUD PROJECT 2005:63

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro advertised and received bids for the construction of  CDBG HUD Sewer Project 2005:63 on August  22, 2007 for the CDBG Program; and

WHEREAS, the low bid of $192,391.50 was submitted by Cline Construction, which was checked and certified by Miller-Newell Engineers, Inc; and

WHEREAS, bids are within our CDBG project budget, of which $170,664.00, of the funds for the project will come from the Community Development Block Grant Budget,  previously approved by the City Council and the Department of Housing & Urban Development, fund line item 10-888-0500-63, with the remaining $21,727.50 paid for by CWL;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:  That the Mayor, Douglas Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
