A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT TED FORTENBERRY TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION PLANNING AND ADVISORY COMMITTEE

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro maintains park and recreation facilities for use by the public;

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Planning and Advisory Committee advises the Parks and Recreation Department in the planning and development of its parks and facilities;

WHEREAS, Ted Fortenberry has been nominated by Mayor Formon to serve on the Parks and Recreation Planning and Advisory Committee for a term of 5 years; expiring January, 2011;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro appoints Ted Fortenberry to serve on the Parks and Recreation Citizen Advisory Board.
