AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF PARKVIEW DRIVE AND EDGEWOOD DRIVE AND WESLEY COURT IN EDGEWOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO AND CLOSING STREETS DESIGNATED AS MARTHA STREET, DARR AVENUE, NETTLETON AVENUE AND EDITH STREET IN PLAT OF WOOD BROTHERS ADDITION TO JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, State of Arkansas, as follows:
Whereas, by a Plat and Dedication Deed in Deed Record 122 at Page 16 and Deed Record 48 at Page 293 of the records of the Jonesboro District of the Craighead County, Arkansas, the owners undertook to dedicate certain streets in Wood Brothers Addition to the City of Jonesboro but the said streets were never opened and dedication thereof was never accepted by the City Council of Jonesboro; and
Whereas, the city planning commission of the City of Jonesboro on July 17, 1958 duly approved the said Plat of Edgewood Addition containing streets as aforesaid. Now, therefore, it is hereby ordained and enacted:
(1) That the streets designated in the Plat of Wood Brothers Addition appearing in Deed Record 48, Page 293 of the records of Jonesboro District of Craighead County, Arkansas as Nettleton Avenue, Martha Street, Darr Avenue and Edith Street, are hereby closed and abandoned.
(2) That the dedication of Parkview Drive, Edgewood Drive and Wesley Court in Edgewood Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, as shown I Plat, Recorded in Deed Record 123, Page 158 of the official records of the Jonesboro District of Craighead County, Arkansas be accepted by the City of Jonesboro and that the said streets be declared public streets of the city.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of August, 1958.
