RESOLUTION TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF KEN YARBROUGH ON THE CRAIGHEAD COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AUTHORITY WITH AN EXPIRATION DATE OF JULY 31, 2013

WHEREAS, on April 1, 1985, the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, joined in the creation of the Craighead County Solid Waste Disposal Authority; and

WHEREAS, Ken Yarbrough was appointed to the Authority on March 17, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Yarbrough has offered his resignation from the Authority due to business concerns; and

WHEREAS, Mayor Perrin has recommended Joe Hafner to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Yarbrough.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:

SECTION 1: Joe Hafner is appointed to replace Ken Yarbrough on the Craighead County Solid Waste Disposal Authority with an expiration date of July 31, 2013.
