RESOLUTION COMMENDING J.W. LEDBETTER FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY AND ITS CITIZENS WHILE SERVING ON THE CITY COUNCIL

WHEREAS, J.W. Ledbetter has for the past several years served the City of Jonesboro as an Alderman of the Second Ward; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro desires to spread the following resolution upon the minutes:
RESOLVED, that the City Council recognizes the excellent, energetic and intelligent service that Mr. Ledbetter has rendered to the City during the many years he has served as an Alderman of the Second Ward.
RESOLVED FURTHER, Mr. Ledbetter has performed an excellent service for our City and its people and the City Council and the people of the Second Ward and Jonesboro greatly appreciate his untiring service. The City Council pays its deepest respect, esteem and admiration unto him.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution shall spread upon the official minutes and become a lasting tribute to Mr. Ledbetter for his devotion to duty and that a copy of this resolution be tendered to Mr. Ledbetter as an expression of the Council’s sincere appreciation and gratitude for the services rendered by him.
PASSED and ADOPTED the 6th day of January, 1969.
