RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH B. B. VANCE & SONS, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PARKER PARK COMMUNITY CENTER BUILDING, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has met and recommend the acceptance of the low bid of B.B. Vance & Sons of $384,750.00 for the Construction of the Parker Park Community Center Building, and

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3181, adopted December 6, 1999, has designated capital improvement funds for the construction.  

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF JONESBORO, THAT:

The Mayor and City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to enter into a contract for the construction of the Parker Park Community Center Building.
