A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH LANDSCAPE STRUCTURES, INC. FOR A CUSTOM PLAYGROUND PACKAGE AT THE NEW CITY PARK LOCATED ON DISCIPLE DRIVE

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has acquired land for the development of a Northeast Park on Disciple Drive;

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to enter into an agreement with Landscape Structures, for $807,772.74, to provide a custom playground package at the new city park to be located on Disciple Drive; and

WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the agreement shall come from Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS;

Section 1. That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into an agreement Landscape Structures, Inc.to provide a custom playground package at a new city park to be located on Disciple Drive.

Section 2. The funding for the execution of the agreement shall come from the Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.

Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
