1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.

3. Approval of minutes from December 16, 1996, as provided.
4. City Attorney:
(A) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone 40 acres from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located on the north side of Johnson Avenue, east of Paragould Drive. (Paul Arnold/C.M. Mooney, Sr.)
(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-2) to Commercial (C-3), located on the northeast end of Bernice Circle, south of Matthews Avenue in Stallings Fifth Addition. (Tom Hendrix)
(C) 1st reading- Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Residential (R-3), located at 4300 Aggie Road. (David Abernathy)
5. Resolution establishing traffic signs at numerous locations within Jonesboro, as recommended by the MATA Committee and Captain Bob Rainey of the Traffic Authority.
