RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE EXISTING WAGE AND SALARY MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR TITLE CHANGES

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro's Wage and Salary Management Plan has been passed by Resolution 2004:02 and is currently in full effect, and                         

WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Jonesboro has identified a need to amend the existing Wage and Salary Management Plan:

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, that

Section One:  the position titles of Firefighter/Mechanic, Firefighter/Radio Technician, Police Fleet, Equipment and Purchasing Officer, and Police Sergeant/Radio Technician be added to the City of Jonesboro Pay Plan as follows:

Firefighter/Mechanic - Non Exempt - Pay Grade 13

Firefighter/Radio Technician - Non Exempt - Pay Grade 13

Police Fleet, Equipment and Purchasing Officer - Non Exempt - Pay Grade 13

Police Sergeant/Radio Technician - Non Exempt - Grade 18

Section Two:  The addition of these position titles are title changes only and not the addition of positions to the plan and do not affect the 2005 budget appropriations.
