AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FARM CREEK SUBDIVISION ROAD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (NOTE: THE DISTRICT WAS DISSOLVED WITH ORD-98:1453 ON OCTOBER 19, 1998)

WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority in assessed value of the property located within the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that an improvement district be established for the purpose hereinafter set forth pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated Section 14-322-100 et seq and to Arkansas Code Annotated Section 14-88-201 et seq; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro has heard all parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petitions were signed by a majority of the owners of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: There is hereby established an improvement district for the purpose of improving the roadways within the city limits of the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas. That said district shall include the following described property:
Lots 1 through 22 of Farm Creek Home Sites, Craighead County, Arkansas;
Lots 1 through 36 of Farm Creek Homes Sites Second Addition;
The Repeat of Lots 18 and 19 of Farm Creek Home Sites Second Addition;
The Repeat of Lots 26 and 27 of Farm Creek Home Sites Second Addition; and
A part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows, to wit: Begin at the Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Section 36; thence South 89°23' West 244.38 feet on the 40 acre line to the point of beginning proper; thence South 208.71 feet; thence North 89°23' East 208.62 feet to the West right of way line of Culberhouse Road (Arkansas Highway No 141); thence North 0°17'06" East 50.49 feet; thence North 0°1'23" East 158.22 feet; the...
