AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 3100, THE 1999 BUDGET, TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM UNALLOCATED SALES TAX FOR CURB CUTS AND OTHER ARKANSAS DISABILITIES ACT SPECIFICATIONS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby appropriates $200,000.00 to come from unallocated sales tax, and
SECTION 2: The $200,000.00 appropriation shall be placed in a special fund, and shall be used for curb cuts and other A.D.A. street specifications.
SECTION 3: This ordinance being necessary for the financial continuity of the City of Jonesboro, there is hereby declared to be an emergency and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
