AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro to dedicate the following right-of-way in the Industrial Park for public use. Said right-of-way is described as follows:
A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, being more particularly described as follows: Begin at the Southwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; thence North 88 ˚46’52” East 20.0 feet; thence North 417.42 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence North 100.0 feet; thence North 88˚46’52” East 1303.52 feet; thence South 0˚03’25” East 100.0 feet: thence South 88˚46’52” West 1303.61 feet to the point of beginning proper, containing 2.99 acres, more or less.
Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that the dedication of said right-of-way is necessary for the proper use and development of property located in the Industrial Park.
Section 3: It is found and declared by the City Council that proper use of property in the Industrial Park is being delayed and, therefore, an emergency exists and this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, it shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
