A RESOLUTION, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE.

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro has benefited for several years by participating in the Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, HUD regulations require that projects be reviewed and recommendations and allocations be made by a Citizen Advisory Committee to the City Council prior to submission of an application for funding, ensuring citizen participation as required by HUD.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS that the following individuals be appointed to the CDBG Citizen Advisory Committee:
Sister Elaine Willit with a term expiring April 1, 2007
Mr. Willie Rose with a term expiring April 1, 2007
Ms. Mary Lee Marcom with a term expiring April 1, 2007
Dr. Jackie McBride with a term expiring April 1, 2008
Ms. Redeen Thomas with a term expiring April 1, 2008
Mr. Victor Hill with a term expiring April 1, 2008
Mr. Curtis Tate with a term expiring April 1, 2009
Mr. Chuck Turner with a term expiring April 1, 2009
Mr. Greg Brooks with a term expiring April 1, 2009
