A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO UTILIZE FEDERAL-AID NATIONAL SCENIC BYWAYS FUNDING FOR CROWLEYS RIDGE PARKWAY: JONESBORO MULTI-USE TRAIL

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro understands the Federal-Aid National Scenic Byways funding is available at 80% federal participation and 20% local match for the for Crowleys Ridge Parkway: Jonesboro Multi-Use Trail

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1. The City will participate in accordance with its designated responsibility in this project, including maintenance of this project.

Section 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.

Section 3. The City pledges its full support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department and the Federal Highway Administration to initiate action to implement this project.
